A Kiss On His Forehead


As I saw him crossing the lawn and walking towards me, I was tempted to brush away the wet hair that was falling on his eyes and kissing his forehead. But I stopped myself. 
Teenaged boys did not appreciate their moms kissing them in public. Even if I still saw him as a pink-cheeked baby.

    Yeah, I imagined my 2 yr old as a teenager when I wrote this one! He's already begun to push me away if I try to get too kissie kissie with him!

    Lovely post Sreesha..Agree with you. We are always kids for our parents and we don't realize that on many instances. Still we are running to achieve the impossible without recognizing the simple beauties of life like this one!
