Some Random Thoughts – Part 1

I know I have been a little lazy with my writing lately. It’s been nearly a week since I posted anything. I have been a bit distracted with things happening at work and stuff.
But I don’t want my blog to feel neglected or sad because of that. So, today I am just going to put up a post with some random thoughts, which I have been writing down in a little book over the years. Some of these are quite old (so may sound really immature!). But here goes:

  1. Love manifests itself in many ways. Sometimes as hatred.
  2. It’s not a real question,if the answer is too obvious.
  3. A half an hour is the most inconsistent thing there is. When you’re doing your work, it feels like eternity but when on a dinner break, it passes like a minute!
  4. A best friend is one, who knows he/she can ping you, even when on the messenger there’s a red bubble that says ‘Busy’.
  5. Do people who share the same name start looking similar?
  6. Conversations do die out sometimes. No one can be blamed.
  7. Every fairy tale is based on a true story. Or so I would like to believe…
  8. When something comes your way, it comes in so many packages, that you don’t know which one to pick; but by the time you do, you realize you don’t have any packages to choose.. not even one…
  9. When you wait for something to happen, it never does.
  10. One of the most amazing things in life is to see a full moon through the leaves of an ever-so-slightly swaying coconut branch.
  11. A wasteland of dreams has been cast aside, because they were dreamed but never meant to be believed.
  12. Why do people think hitting the button one too many times makes the elevator come down faster?!
  13. Don’t interrupt a person when they’re talking. Otherwise, they’ll forget what they were about to say and eventually, curiosity would kill you.

These are all I have the energy to type today. I will post part 2 shortly.

Nicely random. Agree with hatred is also manifestation of love.

Speaking of the elevator, I have lost count of how many times I 've got stuck in one…and claustrophobia only makes matters worse

Very nice thoughts. Hatred is the desire for love… all the thoughts are fascinating.

Beautiful thoughts, you could almost write a poem touching all of them, at least made me think.

Oh yes, getting stuck in one can be extremely scary! Especially if you're shouting for help and no one comes to help you.
But I was referring to the people waiting outside the elevator, pressing the button tooo many times. As if the number of times you press the button is proportional to the speed of the elevator!

That's a nice idea. But these were written over long periods of time. And some of them are pretty disconnected from the rest.

I love the 4th one. There is a saying – “It's the friends you can call up at 4 a.m. that matter.”

    Wonderful collection, Sreesha 🙂
No, not at all immature! Very deep & real. Even today I feel the same when I see people frantically pressing the Elevator's switch! 🙂
